Three decades ago, I took my first steps in the nursing field, inspired by my father's guidance. Little did I know, it would become more than just a job – it would be an intrinsic part of who I am. As the years went by, I saw the ups and downs, the triumphs, and the challenges of the healthcare world. It's these moments that shaped my vision, hopes, and dreams.
But it's not just my professional experiences that crafted this journey. On a personal front, life presented its own set of challenges. Taking care of my sister at home, and navigating the complexities of living with a wheelchair, offered profound insights. I understood, firsthand, what “standard of care” truly meant. It's through this lived experience that I grasped the genuine depth of care, beyond the confines of any textbook or medical journal.

Witnessing the unintended harm caused by healthcare workers, a reality no one in the profession ever intends, ignited a passion in me.

Contemplating the journey of MVP under Michele's leadership, I'm deeply appreciative of the honor of having Michele as my mentor. Her wisdom, guidance, and steadfast support consistently enrich both my life and MVP's trajectory towards success. Our first encounter in 2021 marked the inception of a transformative partnership. As I began my career nearly a decade ago, I was motivated by an overarching goal to make a difference. Advocacy, positive change, and helping people acted as my guideposts while navigating life and working toward my aspirations. Over time, I began to develop a specific passion for disability rights and equity. This topic, interwoven throughout my education, work, and personal life, was proving to be my motivation for more than I realized. I am steadfast in my commitment to a more equitable society and am dedicated to empowering my clients as they achieve their personal and professional goals.
Upon completing my graduate degree in vocational rehabilitation counseling, I hoped to find a place that would provide me with the opportunity to use my vocational knowledge to make a difference. As a member of the MVP team, I have the ability to utilize my foundation in advocacy and evidence-based counseling skills along with my vocational expertise to support clients in their time of need.

My professional journey has led me to the MVP team, where I am excited to contribute my skills and enthusiasm. I bring a unique set of skills to the table. My prior experience in medical billing has equipped me with valuable insights that I am eager to bring to the forefront once again. Also, I have recently earned several Microsoft Office Certifications and look forward to learning much more.
